Tucked away in the Shiba area of New Taipei City is an unexpectedly high-value giant burger—significantly larger than your average night market steak. For just NT$600, you can enjoy a one-kilogram burger, and it’s precisely this massive size that draws meat lovers from far and wide, all eager to indulge in the satisfaction of a hearty, meaty feast.

The giant burger is run by the nephew of the owner of the Shiba Fanpolin Leisure Farm, located right next to the farm. Due to the incredibly generous portion size, even though the price isn’t low, the cost-performance ratio is actually higher—NT$600 gets you nearly one kilogram of giant burger, which is about the right amount for two people. For those with truly massive appetites, you can try the US-style giant burger for NT$1,200, which comes in a whopping 44oz portion that looks even more impressive and is sure to satisfy your cravings for meat.

At Fanpolin, it’s almost impossible to leave hungry. Burger prices start at NT$500, with the most expensive options going up to NT$1,000–2,000. If you’re not into beef, you can also choose pork chops, lamb chops, fish steaks, or spicy grilled shrimp. But the most popular item among customers is still the high-value 35oz giant burger. Additionally, the shoulder steak and ribeye steak, both around 16–20oz, are also great value at around NT$500.

The burgers at Fanpolin come with pepper sauce, mushroom sauce, black pepper sauce, and rose salt. With such generous meat portions, the variety of sauces helps keep things interesting and prevents flavor fatigue. There’s also self-serve water, drinks, and soup available, and you can order extra fried noodles if you want them.
