Spanning 300 meters, this underground street connects Zhongshan Station and Taipei Main Station. Capitalizing on the foot traffic between these two major commercial hubs, it captures both the ambiance of old Taipei alleyways and the pulse of a transportation nexus. In just two and a half months, it has been entirely redesigned to create a brand-new reading space. Along with various themed zones and family-friendly areas, it also features large light walls showcasing iconic literary works and cultural and creative shops scattered along the streets. This thoughtfully crafted space presents a fresh new face in Taipei’s arts and culture landscape.
