Tim Ho Wan, which has retained its Michelin one-star rating for eight consecutive years, introduces must-try appetite-boosting delicacies. Starting July 3, limited-edition outlets across Taiwan will feature the chef’s summer recommendations—“Spicy Tomato Sauce Wontons,” “Chu Hou Beef Brisket Rice Noodles,” and “Snow Fungus & Apricot Winter Melon Long-Simmered Soup.” These three authentic classic Hong Kong flavors allow foodies to enjoy a refined trio of dim sum, noodles, and soup in one go, making them the top summer cuisine choice for both appetite stimulation and nourishing wellness.

“Tomato sauce” is a classic and well-known flavor in Hong Kong cuisine. The wonton wrappers are thin, soft, and smooth, with a rich filling—you can immediately taste the springy, juicy shrimp inside. It’s cleverly paired with a specially made spicy tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes and chili, delivering both visual and taste surprises.

“Chu Hou sauce” is a classic sauce commonly used in Hong Kong cuisine. The Chu Hou Beef Brisket Rice Noodles use Hong Kong-style Chu Hou sauce to braise the beef until flavorful. The sauce is rich with fermented black bean aroma, sweet and savory, while the rice noodles are smooth and springy. They’re paired with king oyster mushrooms to boost the dish’s nutritional value and enhance its flavor, complemented by pickled shredded radish that adds a crisp, sweet-and-sour texture, enriching the taste layers—perfect for summer enjoyment.

“Soup” also known as long-simmered soup, is a classic signature Hong Kong dish. The Snow Fungus & Apricot Winter Melon Long-Simmered Soup uses refreshing and sweet green papaya, collagen-rich white fungus, figs, and almonds. After boiling, it’s slow-simmered over low heat to fully preserve the original flavors and aromas of the ingredients, concentrating all the nutrition into the soup. It has a rich flavor and is both nourishing and health-boosting.

Additionally, Tim Ho Wan sees unlimited potential in the dining consumption market of South Taoyuan and is adding another “star” location. Its 8th branch is scheduled to officially open at Taoyuan’s Grand Ocean International Shopping Mall this September.
