Tribal travel is all the rage right now—head to the mountain tribes to escape the summer heat!
Located in Heping District, Taichung City, the Huan Shan Tribe is surrounded by high mountains such as Nanhu Dashan and the Snow Mountain range. Most of the tribe’s residents primarily make a living through fruit farming. With an average altitude of 2,000 meters, the average annual temperature of Huan Shan Tribe is around 15°C, making it a perfect summer retreat!

Huan Shan Tribe has its own charm all year round: in early spring, the Greater Lishan area bursts into a riot of flowers, among which the elegant wisteria blooms; in summer, you can enjoy sweet honey pears and peaches; in autumn, the golden foliage offers a unique landscape, and before winter arrives, you can also get a taste of snow pears and bright red persimmons.
