In terms of temperature, highs could reach 35°C over the weekend. Be especially mindful of temperature differences when moving between air-conditioned and outdoor environments. Rain is expected across Taiwan on Saturday, with showers easing on Sunday, but brief afternoon showers or sudden weather changes remain possible.
UV levels are excessive across Taiwan—try to avoid outdoor activities under direct sunlight. If you must be outside, take proper sun protection measures. In Kaohsiung, UV levels have reached dangerous levels (skin can burn in just 15 minutes of exposure), so extra sun safety precautions are a must in summer.
