500-meter Mountain-View Rainbow Trail, Qingjing Windmill Festival, Colorful Launch
The annual summer highlight of Qingjing Farm, the "2017 Qingjing Windmill Festival," launched enthusiastically on July 1st. With a rainbow theme, it features the most captivating 500-meter rainbow-themed trail in the Mountain-View Pasture area, offering visitors the most colorful and carefree experience at Qingjing. During the event, there will also be rainbow grassland concerts and dance performances, delivering a unique musical feast. Additionally, there's a DIY painting experience for a hundred-person music windmill group, guided by professional instructors (registration required).

This year’s windmill festival design concept combines three main elements: high mountains, clear waters, and blue skies.Five thousand sky-blue windmills create an astonishing visual effect.The windmill waves formed by three layers of sky-blue windmills are eye-catching and a must-photo spot for visitors.

A new addition for the summer—water screen laser shows, combined with windmills and light and sound effects, allow visitors to enjoy a different spectacle in the evening. During the summer windmill festival at Qingjing Farm, aside from admiring the colorful windmills, don’t miss the famous sheep shearing show at Qingjing Green Grassland, which takes place at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm on weekends (from July 10th to August 31st, shows are held Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, weather permitting). Daily horse riding shows are also held at 10:45 am and 3:45 pm at Qingjing Mountain-View Pasture—thrilling and exciting.

Shuttle Bus Service: Provided by Nantou Bus, with 4 round-trip buses between Tongyi Commercial Area (left side of Provincial Highway 14A, 7K) and Green Grassland.8:00 - 17:00Buses run every 15 minutes.

Full Price: NT$160 (Weekdays) / NT$200 (Holidays) – General Public
Group Ticket: NT$120 (Weekdays) / NT$160 (Holidays) – Groups of 30 or more, military, government, education, police, and qualified First Special Forces soldiers
Student Ticket: NT$120 (Weekdays) / NT$120 (Holidays)
Senior / Child Ticket: NT$80 – Seniors over 65, children aged 6–12 (height 115cm–150cm)
Neighboring Community Ticket: NT$80 – Residents of Puli Township and Xinyi Township in Nantou County, and Heping Township in Taichung County
Insurance: NT$20 – Veterans and their spouses and immediate family members / preschool children and infants / individuals with disabilities and one accompanying person / residents of Ren'ai Township in Nantou County / volunteers holding honorary service cards issued by the Ministry of the Interior / tour guides and team leaders
