Buses now provide direct access to the popular Gaomei Wetlands attraction with improved transportation convenience

Gaomei Wetlands in Taichung, long favored by Japanese tourists and praised as a breathtaking sight by overseas websites,-attracts large crowds of visitors every holiday. To enhance transportation links in the area, the Taichung City Government Transportation Bureau has newly launched3sightseeing bus routes to Gaomei Wetlands.

Travelers can take655from Taichung High-Speed Rail Station,688from Qingshui Railway Station, and309from Taichung Railway Station, all now in operation—allowing visitors to reach Gaomei Wetlands quickly without driving, saving money and hassle.

The Transportation Bureau stated that monthly visitor numbers at Gaomei Wetlands have reached 100,000, and key tourist facilities such as the Gaomei Wetlands Visitor Center and the Cross-Sea Scenic Bridge have been completed one after another. Travelers are encouraged to make use of the convenient public transport to plan a one-day trip along the coastal route and experience the beautiful cultural charm of the area.
