Taiwanese tourists traveling to Japan for working holidays are also increasing, with Okinawa being a top vacation spot for many. Recently, the Japanese government announced a Taiwan-exclusive program. As long as you meet the basic requirements, you can apply to study in Okinawa for one year. The Okinawa Prefectural Government will not only cover round-trip airfare, accommodation, transportation, tuition, and insurance fees, but will also provide selected participants with a monthly living allowance of 70,000 yen (approximately 20,000 NTD).
