As the passionate summer arrives, radiant sunflowers have also begun to bloom in succession. At the event site of the Organic Mi Xiang Festival in Sanxing Township, Yilan, a large number of sunflowers have been planted as landscape art. The Mi Xiang Festival ended earlier this month, but the sunflower fields continue to blossom. Therefore, starting today, visitors can pick them for free and also explore the beautiful scenery of Sanxing Township.

The Mi Xiang Park has planted about 15,000 sunflowers on a 5-acre farm, creating a stunning golden sea of flowers. The 2017 Sanxing Mi Xiang Festival was held from July 1 to 2, with environmental protection and childlike fun as its main themes. After the event concluded, the township office decided to extend the environmental values by giving away the event materials for free to residents and visitors.

In addition to free sunflower picking, the township office has also made over 3,000 bundles of straw used during the event available for visitors to take and use for farming purposes.
