Dessert shops in Yuanlin have gradually flourished over the past two or three years, with several offering their own unique styles and quality. The most eye-catching addition recently is the Bloom Dessert Bar, which opened on July 22nd and is helmed by a French chef certified with three Michelin stars. The entire shop has a high-end feel and is adorned with greenery. The French team brings both classic and innovative Parisian flavors, so friends in Yuanlin don’t have to travel far to enjoy authentic French desserts.!

French pastry chef Charlotte said she enjoys using Taiwanese fruits paired with French butter/whipped cream to make desserts! There were no similar desserts available in Changhua’s Yuanlin, so she wanted to try selling this type of jar cake. The jar cakes incorporate creative elements like flower petals, fruits, and chocolate, making them even more vibrant and colorful. The jars are not made of glass but plastic bottles, which can be taken home as keepsakes after eating. When presented to customers, they are placed on wooden blocks — not only for easy handling but also for great photo backdrops.

Since the desserts use top-tier French ingredients, locally sourced fresh fruits, no artificial flavorings, and are all handmade, daily quantities are limited. The shop hopes to serve as many in-store customers as possible, so purchase limits may sometimes apply.
