The annual Wanggong Fishing Fires Festival will be held on August 5th and 6th. This year’s rich program features four main highlights: an ocean music concert, a dazzling fireworks display, a prayer and street parade carnival, and a local gourmet feast—all showcasing the unique charm and beautiful coastal culture of Wanggong in Changhua. Come to the beautiful county of Changhua and experience the grand platform of seaside flavors.

This year’s ocean music concert will feature not only fan-favorite powerhouse singers such as Lee Chien-na, Show Lo, Jia Jia, and Lulu Hsu, but also reggae band MATZKA and Taiwanese pop diva Hsiang Huei-ling, who will take turns performing on stage. In addition, the county government has built a stunning Ridgeback Bridge over the Houkang River on Provincial Highway 61, which becomes a new attraction and landmark in Wanggong after lighting up.

With large crowds expected at the Wanggong Fishing Fires Festival, free shuttle buses will be available daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. at designated stops—be sure to take advantage of them to get to the venue.

Route: Fu Hai Temple – Quan Fang Zhi Zi Bing – Wanggong Grand Parking Lot – Wanggong Food Street – Chung Hsing Seafood Restaurant – Ah Mei Seafood Restaurant – Wanggong Fishing Port (round trip). Shuttle service to Wanggong Fishing Port will not be available after 8:30 p.m., but you can still take the bus to leave Wanggong Fishing Port.
