1. Erliao Sunrise Pavilion
Erliao Sunrise Pavilion is a renowned spot for watching the sunrise. The “Water Pipe House” campsite at Ganglin Elementary School in Zuozhen District has become a wildly popular off-the-beaten-path camping destination in Tainan in recent years. The former campus of the closed school has been transformed into the Zuozhen Moon World Eco-Park, where five water pipe houses were built on the school field. After going viral online, this campsite has become highly sought after.

3. Caoshan Moon World
Caoshan Moon World earned its name for its desolate, moon-like landscape, attracting both domestic and international tourists to visit and take photos. The vast scenery here gives off a majestic aura as if thousands of mountains are paying homage. With changes across seasons and throughout dawn and dusk, Caoshan Moon World showcases different faces, making it a great spot for sunset and night views.

Caoshan Moon World is composed of grayish-blue rock formations made of sandstone and shale, forming part of the badlands that stretch into the mudstone regions of Neimen, Tianliao, and Yanchao Districts in Kaohsiung City, collectively known as the chalk landform. Due to its soft geological composition, combined with erosion by rivers such as Caoshan Creek and Ganglin Creek, the area features rugged, continuous rocky outcrops, steep cliffs, and jagged, bare ridgelines.
