Saying classic Taiwanese snacks, you can’t miss “wheel cakes.” The red bean cakes from our childhood bring satisfaction anytime—whether after school or as an afternoon treat. As tastes become more Western-influenced, beyond the classic red bean, taro, and shredded radish, all kinds of innovative flavors keep emerging. Each bite releases an explosion of fillings that’s simply irresistibly delicious. In the hot summer, why not have an ice cream—and a red bean cake, too!
