New IG hotspot: The Tire Park is both photogenic and eye-catching

The villagers and village chief of Fubao Village in Changhua have continuously updated and improved their community. Following the repainting and artistic decoration of old walls that created a trending painted village, now the village chief has once again called on the villagers to help repurpose old and discarded tires, arranging them into a colorful painted tire park. Not only is it photogenic and eco-friendly, but its giant donut-like appearance has also become a new IG hotspot.

In July this year, Fubao Village collected large agricultural tires that were no longer used by local dairy farmers, repainted and arranged them on land generously provided by Tai Ming, creating the "Colorful Tire Park" with tires as the main decorative element. Every piece of decor seen in the park is made from tires, giving it a distinctive local character and making it a new attraction.

The disposal of discarded tires is a major environmental challenge. Through a community-building initiative, Fubao Village enlisted the help of university students to paint the old tires in various bright colors, even stacking them into a tire mountain for kids to play on. They also designed the tires into installation art, adding a unique touch to the community.

Fubao Village has long been committed to beautifying and rebuilding the village. Starting in 2015, it began adding new vibrancy to the area through painting. After years of effort and transformation, Fubao Village in Changhua has become a must-visit and highly photogenic destination for travelers to the region.
