Keelung’s Badouzi Station was reopened in late 2016 after reconstruction, quickly becoming a popular new photo spot. In addition to renovating the old mountain-side platform, an 80-meter-long scenic platform was built on the ocean-facing side, allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning seascape.

2. National Museum of Marine Science and Technology
The National Museum of Marine Science and Technology covers a vast area, nestled against mountains and overlooking the sea, surrounded by the streets of Badouzi, Badouzi Fishing Port, and the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area. Designed around the concept of ocean currents, its architecture uses specially crafted glass curtains and spatial planning to blend fluidity and transparency with the surrounding scenery. The museum complex includes the Ocean Exhibition Area (featuring an IMAX 3D Ocean Theater), collections and research facilities, and landscape amenities.

3. Wangyou Valley
Wangyou Valley is located in the lush green valley below the Badouzi Park viewpoint. From its elevated position, visitors can overlook the green valley and gaze out at the sea and nearby islands, offering a serene and carefree experience. In spring and summer, the valley is covered with lush green grass, while in autumn and winter, it transforms into a sea of creamy golden tones.

4. Chaoying Park
Located on the eastern side of the Badouzi Peninsula, Chaoying Park spans one hectare. Originally a waste disposal site, it has been transformed into an ideal destination for sea views and sightseeing. The park features well-designed wooden boardwalks and numerous art sculptures, with the most popular photo spot being the “Flying Broom.”
