Kumamon himself appears at the treasure hunt puzzle event, with Kyushu specialty products showcased on stage

Taiwan’s first treasure hunt puzzle collaboration with Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan—‘Discover Kumamoto!: The Missing Treasure in Taipei’—kicked off grandly on 8/12 at Global Mall New Taipei Zhonghe Branch. Kumamoto Prefecture’s official mascot, Kumamon, made a personal appearance to meet fans. During the event period, local specialties from Kumamoto Prefecture will also be sold on-site, along with Kumamon merchandise.

Explanation of the treasure hunt process:
Fans can obtain a treasure map by registering at the counter or online. Based on the clues on the map, they search for various puzzle points within the venue, solve the puzzles, and obtain corresponding keywords. Then, using the collected keywords, they fill in the blanks of a sentence and follow the instructions to get the “final” keyword. If all puzzles are successfully solved and all keywords are found, participants can win the exclusive Kumamon prize—the treasure of this event.
