Free 10 Universiade commemorative postcards available at tourist service centers

The 2017 Taipei Universiade is about to kick off, drawing the world’s sports spotlight to Taipei. In partnership with Bologna Illustration Award winner Chen Youling, 10 “Universiade Commemorative Postcards” have been released to fuel the city’s excitement for the event. The warm and adorable hand-drawn style vividly captures the athletes’ charm, while also featuring iconic scenes of Taipei, fully showcasing the city’s allure.

The Universiade commemorative postcards not only highlight the distinctive features of the Games but also allow the world to see Taiwan in a lighthearted and heartwarming way. All 22 sports of the Universiade are illustrated, along with familiar sights such as the Taipei Metro, Maokong Gondola, and must-try Taipei treats like xiaolongbao and bubble tea, all making an appearance in the 10 postcards.

Starting from the opening day, you can pick up a single postcard for free at any of the 10 tourist service centers in Taipei. Each person is limited to one postcard per location, while supplies last. Those who collect all 10 can visit the tourist service center at “Taipei 101/World Trade Center MRT Station” to get a beautiful postcard sleeve, preserving wonderful memories.
