New Michelin One-Star Restaurant Sparks Buzz at Newly Launched Gourmet Paradise

Keelung has added another gourmet paradise attraction as the East Coast Parking Lot is transformed into a mixed-use mall. The first and second floors feature a wide range of businesses, such as Zhi Duo Duo, Marugame Seimen, Hamazushi, Shi Er Huo, MomenTon, NET, and Poya. The highlight is Singapore’s Michelin one-star restaurant “PUTIEN.” The third floor is designed as a sky garden with recreational areas for outdoor activities like jogging tracks, inline skating, and skateboarding.

Originally scheduled to open in 2017, the Keelung East Coast Parking Lot Mall has faced multiple delays due to factors like the rainy season. The latest update sets a soft opening on February 9 and an official launch on February 14. The first floor has been opened to the public, with most facilities completed, offering a clean and bright space while awaiting tenant setup.

PUTIEN, the Michelin one-star restaurant from Singapore, offers dishes that blend Singaporean flavors such as laksa, ayam buah keluak, and Peranakan cuisine. Highlights include Crispy Fried Taro with Pork and Premium Spicy Pork Knuckle. The restaurant also serves Singapore’s famous chili and black pepper crabs.
