The "Mitsui OUTLET PARK Taichung Port" will cover a site area of 54,000 pyeong and a building area of 18,000 pyeong. It will feature 160 international and Japanese brands, along with seaside restaurants and a Ferris wheel, establishing Taiwan’s first harbor shopping center that combines tourism and leisure. It is expected to open by the end of next year.

It is close to Central Taiwan’s most famous tourist attractions, such as Wuci Fishing Port, Gaomei Wetlands, and Dajia Mazu Temple. It is estimated to attract around 40 million domestic and international visitors annually, transforming Taichung Port from an industrial harbor into a travel destination integrating business, tourism, and ecology.
