Singapore is currently planning a resort nestled in the forest, and its most distinctive feature is its "environmentally friendly" concept. Visitors can enjoy being surrounded by the forest. It is scheduled to open in 2023 in the well-known zoo area of Mandai, which also includes the Night Safari and the River Safari besides the zoo.

According to the Lonely Planet website, the new forest resort covers an area of approximately 4.6 acres. Travelers who feel exhausted by city life can fully relax here and immerse themselves in nature. The Mandai Forest area can be considered the greenest place in Singapore, housing several wildlife parks. Aside from rest and relaxation, it also offers forest guided tours, wildlife tours, and various eco-friendly workshops for learning. The resort is not yet named, but it is currently the newest and most advanced resort in Singapore.

The resort will offer various accommodation options, such as standard rooms and family rooms, as well as more unique ones like "treehouses." It is expected to have 400 rooms, targeting mainly young families.

In the future, the resort will collaborate with existing institutions such as the zoo and wildlife parks to form a large-scale ecotourism destination, which is expected to become another highlight of tourism in Singapore.
