Hong Kong Disneyland’s brand-new haunted house Halloween party runs non-stop for 48 days

Aside from the traditional folk custom of the Hungry Ghost Festival in the seventh lunar month, Halloween is also an important spooky celebration in the West—and a fantastic day of revelry. This year, Hong Kong Disneyland is hosting “Disney Halloween Time 2017” from September 14 to October 31, for a thrilling 48-day run. Disney villains will kick off non-stop daytime and nighttime themed parties in various ways, along with different types of spectral entertainment and eerie yet whimsical dinners, extending the spooky atmosphere to every corner of the park.

Visitors can take on the challenge of the brand-new haunted house “Maze of Mysteries: A New Chapter in the Lab of Nightmares,” stepping into a dreamlike, surreal world. Along the way, they’ll board the bizarre carriage from Pinocchio; break into the Scare Floor of Monsters, Inc.; weave through the Mad Hatter’s shop in Alice in Wonderland, as well as the eerie spaces of Hades in Beauty and the Beast and Hercules.

The most spectacular street party of Halloween even sees Mickey and his star friends donning Halloween costumes. Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy will parade in three giant pumpkin-themed floats, and visitors can join in interactive activities and play with oversized pumpkin balloons.

In addition to the grand parties, the park has specially prepared a series of spooky-themed goodies and special delicacies for visitors, including the newly launched Halloween dining experience “Mickey’s Halloween Mystery Dinner.” In addition, there are Halloween-themed specialty merchandise items, with shops offering over 150 Disney-themed costumes, accessories, and Halloween outfits. There are also more than 80 Halloween-themed products, including clothing, accessories, home goods, souvenirs, daily necessities, plush toys, stationery sets, and special pins.
