Korean BBQ Meat Love specializes in charcoal-grilled meat and offers unlimited free side dishes

Another Korean BBQ restaurant has opened. Meat Love, which emphasizes authentic Korean-style charcoal grilling, debuted in April. The restaurant was established in Taiwan by the large South Korean food group Ken Woo Li Culture. Meat Love serves a variety of Korean dishes including wagyu beef, marinated grilled meats, homemade naengmyeon (Korean cold noodles), various types of pancakes, and spicy chicken stew. Unlimited free side dishes are also provided.

In terms of display, decoration, and equipment, Meat Love has specially imported from Korea solid wood tables and chairs, a telescopic range hood pipe that helps absorb cooking fumes, and brass cutlery. In addition, Meat Love has two major features: oak charcoal and the grill grate. Also known as white charcoal, oak charcoal turns silver-white when burning, emits a faint fragrance, and generates anions and infrared rays. It costs four times the price of regular charcoal. Moreover, Meat Love has abandoned the commonly used thick Korean copper plates, opting instead for a grill grate. The advantage of the grill grate is its ability to conduct heat quickly, keeping the meat juicy and flavorful.

Upon seating, guests at Meat Love are served eight unlimited free side dishes, including unsliced kimchi, cold noodles, cucumbers, and cold soup. The restaurant offers premium meat options such as wagyu tenderloin and flat iron steak, as well as beef short ribs, spare ribs, and brisket. For pork, there are thickly sliced Matsusaka pork and pork belly, as well as special pork ribs and pork belly with Meat Love’s own specially developed sauces.

Meat Love currently offers lunch and dinner. Lunch includes business set meals, and more items such as Korean charcoal-grilled meat bento boxes and charcoal-grilled meat sandwiches will be introduced in the future.
