Taiwan’s largest underground shopping street: a 6,000-ping foodie paradise

Located in Zhongli, Taoyuan, the Grand Ocean International Shopping Center is already one of the key malls for locals. Recently, Grand Ocean is set to unveil Taiwan’s largest underground lifestyle and dining street, spanning an expansive 6,000 ping area. It will gather a host of so-called dreamlike food brands and is set to open for trial operations on September 6.

The new underground lifestyle street at Grand Ocean Shopping Center brings together renowned food brands, including the century-old French bakery PAUL Cafe, the barbecue and izakaya chain from Kanpai Group, Waco Grande, and the wildly popular dessert spot Amplicious, among others. In addition, many dining brands will debut with newly designed concept stores. More Taiwan-exclusive or even Taoyuan-exclusive brands are set to join in the future. During the trial operation period, various brands are also launching limited-time promotions to thank customers.
