Universal Studios is a must-do for many tourists visiting Japan, the U.S., Singapore, and other destinations, often leaving visitors reluctant to leave. As an Asian luxury resort destination built with an innovative concept, “Jeju Shinhwa World” will open in phases this October. It will combine a theme park, food streets, duty-free shops, vacation apartments, and villas. The project has also appointed G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong) as its brand ambassador, who has even designed a GD Cafe within the resort. Additionally, in collaboration with YG Entertainment, an entertainment hub called “YG Town” will be created within the resort, integrating celebrity shops, K-pop performances, and fashion and leisure experiences.

Spanning approximately 2.5 million square meters, Jeju Shinhwa World has been gradually opening since 2017. Upon its completion in 2019, it will become one of South Korea’s largest integrated resorts. The park includes seven mythological theme zones, 20 rides, a water park, a spa center, and a shopping and dining complex. There will also be over 2,000 premium hotel rooms, exhibition and conference facilities, along with about 1,500 private luxury villas and bungalows. The diverse offerings aim to cater to all types of visitors, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy their stay.
