Five-star hotel's Spring Festival series of events — food, drinks, fun, and more

Just after the lively New Year’s Eve celebrations, Taipei Regent Hotel has prepared a series of exciting food, drink, and entertainment activities for the Lunar New Year, from New Year’s Eve (February 15) to the fifth day of the first lunar month (February 20). For food, the hotel has gathered classic Chinese, Western, and Japanese delicacies from both on-site and off-site restaurants to launch the “Spring Festival Reunion Feast,” allowing guests to celebrate together around the feast table. As for entertainment, there’s plenty of excitement, especially at noon on the first day of the Lunar New Year at 12 PM, when a special lion dance performance will be arranged to bring good fortune and cheer to guests.

The highlight of New Year’s Eve at the hotel is undoubtedly the “Reunion Night” held in the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor. Not only will a lavish and delicious reunion feast be served, but the venue will also feature traditional games like writing spring couplets and silhouette art, along with spontaneous performances by playful clowns and magicians to entertain guests and add to the festive atmosphere. The buffet restaurant, Park Lane, on the 1st floor, will showcase a rotation of the year’s most popular international dishes prepared by the chefs.

For fans of Japanese cuisine, Sanfan Honke on the B3 floor offers an exclusive luxury seafood and meat hot pot as the centerpiece of the reunion meal, featuring ingredients such as Boston lobster, clams, oysters, seafood hot pot, paired with premium American boneless short ribs and Taiwanese snow pork, creating a luxurious New Year’s sea-and-land feast. Robin’s Steakhouse & Teppanyaki Restaurant on the 2nd floor presents Western-style grilled premium sea-and-land meat platters for the reunion night. Meanwhile, the richly Chinese New Year–themed Regent Chinese Restaurant on the 3rd floor has specially introduced several festive dishes for the Spring Festival, including Prosperity Six-Delight Butterfly Shrimp, Golden Soup Seafood BBQ Shark Fin, and Oyster Sauce Mushroom Live Abalone.

Additionally, guests who dine at the hotel on New Year’s Eve and from New Year’s Day to the fifth day will receive a Fortune Cookie upon presenting their dining receipt from any on-site restaurant. Inside the cookie, you’ll find various dining discount coupons, with savings of up to 30% off.
