Yet another queue-worthy shop is raising its prices!Due to the implementation of the "One Fixed Day Off, One Flexible Rest Day" labor policy and increased operational costs such as raw materials, four well-known popular queue spots in Taipei—including "Chen Sanding"—have announced price increases. Enjoying your favorite foods will now cost you a bit more.

Dubbed the originator of black sugar frog fresh milk, “Chen Sanding” is a must-visit popular spot in Gongguan. The drink is made by hand-shaking black sugar and fresh milk until evenly mixed before inserting the straw, allowing you to enjoy the rich, smooth milky flavor blended with black sugar, paired with chewy tapioca pearls—a favorite among many. However, starting from March, its price has quietly gone up by NT$5.

Also raising prices is the East District’s “Concentric-Circle Crystal Red Bean Pastry,” which has increased its price from NT$20 to NT$25. After 12 years without a price change, the shop has finally had to adjust its prices due to rising operational and raw material costs, which it had been holding off on for some time.

The ambiance-filled “Little Cabin Pancake” has also raised its pancake item prices by NT$5 starting in April due to increased operational costs. The popular tea drink shop “Kang Qing Long Cultural Tea Drinks,” known for using carefully selected tea leaves from Alishan—delivering a rich, mellow tea aroma in every sip—has carved out a niche in the hand-shaken beverage market with its high-quality ingredients. But even it couldn’t withstand the rising cost of raw materials, leading to a slight price adjustment.
