Scenes include a large sports event with 700 participants in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, as well as a camping scene in Yatsugatake Highlands, Nagano Prefecture. In addition to the dating spot—Yokohama's Hakkeijima Sea Paradise Aquarium in Kanagawa Prefecture—many beautiful outdoor scenes appear in the Suwa area of Nagano Prefecture, such as the Great Waterfall Course, Fujimigaoka Highland Resort, JR Shinano Sakai Station, and Matsumoto Shinshi High School. [Synopsis]

A pure and naive country girl, Tsuruno Yasaburou (played by Nana Mori), transfers to high school in Tokyo after her father is assigned an overseas job. She has no choice but to live with her uncle in the city. But on her first day, she gets lost because she’s unfamiliar with the area—luckily, she is helped out by a kind stranger, Shishio (played by Hiroshi Tamaki). The next day, when Yasaburou arrives at school, she finds out that Shishio is actually her homeroom teacher. Feelings she has never had for a teacher begin to blossom in her heart... and eventually, she gathers the courage to confess her feelings. But faced with Yasaburou’s straightforward confession, Shishio, being a teacher, finds himself unable to respond honestly. At the same time, her classmate Mazama (played by Haruma Miura), who sits next to her and claims he is “not good with girls,” also confesses to Yasaburou. How will Yasaburou’s first love turn out?
