Princess Cruises' 2018 Taiwan Inaugural Voyage Now on Sale – Early Bird Discount Saves ¥6,000

The "Majestic Princess," which was launched in Italy just last March, is the newest and most luxurious ship in the Princess Cruises fleet. It is also the first flagship vessel in the Princess fleet specifically designed for the Asian market. Not only does it thoughtfully label all onboard facilities in Chinese and increase the proportion of Chinese-speaking service staff to ensure that guests won’t have language concerns even aboard an international cruise, but it also incorporates Chinese culture and cuisine. These include the Guanlan Court Cantonese Restaurant, where banquets are designed by a Michelin one-star chef; the iconic Gong Cha from Taiwan; a traditional Chinese arts and entertainment lounge; and KTV rooms—favorites among locals—all brought on board a luxury cruise ship.

In addition to Eastern features, it also integrates Princess Cruises’ exclusive flagship amenities: the SeaWalk, a skywalk over the sea that has become a must-photo spot; the largest duty-free luxury boutique space at sea; a dazzling light, sound, and water show; the Doctor Dreams exclusively crafted luxury mattresses; and Renoir French Restaurant, where dishes are designed by a Michelin three-star chef. These features captivated judges upon launch, earning the Majestic Princess the prestigious “Best Cruise Ship in Asia” award at the 2017 Jeju Cruise Forum.

When the Majestic Princess made a flash stop in Taiwan in June, it immediately caused a sensation and sparked lively discussions. To meet consumer expectations, the Majestic Princess is scheduled to begin its sailing season in April 2018, with Keelung Port in Taiwan as its home port, taking guests on an exciting journey around Japan. A special “Sea Day” is also offered, giving passengers the chance to fully appreciate the elegant charm of this flagship Majestic Princess. Early bird discounts are available for purchases made before the end of October, with savings of up to ¥6,000 per cabin. Purchases made before the end of November will receive a ¥4,000 discount, and those made before the end of December will enjoy a ¥2,000 discount—the earlier you book, the more you save.

In addition, to reward Princess Cruises members, the “Princess Comes Home” campaign has been launched. Those who book before the end of December can receive limited-edition Princess Cruises luggage tags, exclusive Taipei 101 gifts, and one year of membership—provided they are Princess Cruises Captain Circle members or past passengers. For those booking long-stay Standard Suite cabins, each cabin will also receive a limited-edition AVEDA premium hair care trio.
