1. Hinoki Forest Life Village
Covering approximately 3.4 hectares, Hinoki Forest Life Village preserves traditional Japanese-style architecture. Stepping into this village feels like traveling back to a bygone historical era. The site has renovated former dormitories and official residences of Japanese employees using traditional Japanese construction methods, transforming them into a new hub for forestry culture, arts, and sightseeing entertainment.

It is not only Taiwan’s earliest forestry village but also home to the most complete and extensive collection of preserved Japanese official residences, which led to the architectural complex being designated as a municipal historic site and heritage building in 2005.
