Giant Gundam Makes Its Debut – Highlights of the Largest Gundam Exhibition Ever

Thanks to the strong efforts of Bandai Namco Asia, the Giant Gundam Exhibition, which was previously held in Hong Kong and Singapore, will also launch at Uni-President Department Store Taipei Times Square on October 8, 2017. This marks the largest-scale Gundam exhibition in Taiwan’s history, “Giant Gundam Asia Tour – Taiwan Station GUNDAM docks at TAIWAN.” The globally popular 1:3 scale giant Gundam will be displayed in a spectacular fashion at the Dream Plaza on the 2nd floor of the department store, featuring two two-story-tall classic mobile suits: “RX-78-2 Gundam” and “MS-06S Char's Custom Zaku II.”

In addition, the GUNDAM docks at TAIWAN MRT shuttle bus officially began service on October 1, departing from Shandao Temple Station with fixed daily schedules. Travelers interested in taking the shuttle are encouraged to keep an eye out.

The 3rd floor of the department store features a Gundam model exhibition, the 4th floor showcases a Gundam statue display, and the 5th floor’s TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE will host an exclusive art exhibition by Japan’s foremost mechanical designer, “Kunio Okawara,” free for all Gundam fans who love classic Japanese animation to explore and enjoy. It aims to offer Taiwanese Gundam enthusiasts the most thrilling experience of the Gundam universe.
