The miscanthus flowering period peaks in November, and many travelers have already started planning their November miscanthus trips. Visitors can also explore the ancient trails to experience the charm of the mountains and sea, admire the calligraphy of “Tiger” and “Heroically Subduing the Barbarian Mist” inscribed on stone tablets by Liu Mingdeng, an imperial censor from the late Qing Dynasty, and take in the spectacular coastal views of Dali. It’s definitely worth a visit.

The Caoling Historic Trail was once a key route connecting Keelung and Yilan. From the mountain pass in Yilan, you can even see Turtle Island, making it one of the most popular hiking routes among the Northeast Coast National Trail network.

In addition, Yangmingshan is also covered with a pristine white wave of flowers. The Yangmingshan National Park Administration recently posted updates on the flower conditions, showing that blooming miscanthus flowers have formed vast floral landscapes, dying the entire mountaintop in a stunning white. As weekends tend to be crowded and may affect the flower-viewing experience, visitors are advised to go on weekdays.
