The ITF Taipei Travel Fair, a major event in Asian tourism, commenced on October 27. Organizers have gathered tourism bureaus from various countries, tourism promotion agencies, airlines, county and city governments, and travel agencies, all of which are pulling out all the stops to launch the most exciting marketing programs and offers. This gives consumers the chance to purchase the most competitive travel packages while enjoying high-quality festival events, further enhancing the ITF’s strength and appeal as a sales and exhibition platform.

【Airline Special Offers Zone】
China AirlinesTo celebrate the good news that its Taipei-London route will commence on December 1 and that flights on the Australia-New Zealand routes will be increased, China Airlines has not only dressed staff as British Royal Guards at the fair to give visitors an immersive taste of British culture, but also invited Wonder Woman and Batman from Warner Bros. Movie World in Queensland, Australia, to take photos with attendees. Notably, on the opening day of October 27, the “China Airlines Cheerleaders CI Beauties” will kick off the show with a dance performance at the China Airlines booth. At 12:00 on opening day, the cheerleaders will additionally distribute limited-edition non-woven tote bags co-produced by “China Airlines x Taiwan Visitors Association” at the venue. In addition, those looking to snap up discounted airfares can find exclusive flight deals at the fair.
Mandarin AirlinesHas specially launched the “Mandarin Airlines Happy Hot Spring Season” campaign, featuring travel fair-exclusive offers such as a three-day hot spring trip in Taitung for NT$3,999, a one-day gourmet tour in Kinmen for NT$2,299, a three-day stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Penghu for NT$4,999, and a three-day autumn tour of Taroko in Hualien for NT$3,999. To coincide with the “Mandarin Airlines Happy Hot Spring Season” campaign, during the fair period, visitors who come to the Mandarin Airlines booth, hold up a sign saying “#Mandarin Airlines Happy Hot Spring Season,” take a photo with the booth, and upload it online, will receive exquisite gifts such as limited-edition handmade soap and travel storage bags.
Hong Kong AirlinesFor 2017 ITF, the booth has been specially designed to resemble a retro ice cream parlor with strong Hong Kong flair, conveying the brand spirit of “This is Hong Kong, right now!” It also shares the news that Hong Kong Airlines will officially launch its Los Angeles route starting December 18, its second North American destination after Vancouver. This new route will be operated by Hong Kong Airlines’ Airbus A350 aircraft, aiming to offer passengers a more spacious and comfortable flying experience.
Japan AirlinesWill set up a Boeing 787 model airplane display and a large Shinkansen model exhibition area. The booth will also feature a Tokyo Disney Resort photo zone and a Japan Tobu Railway special area. The JR East Japan booth will showcase Japanese railway bento boxes and mini Shinkansen models, filling the exhibition space with joy and fun. Daily activities offer chances to win a variety of exclusive small gifts.
ANAAll Nippon AirwaysRelevant promotions and lucky draw activities have already kicked off enthusiastically. Be sure to join the daily stage events for quiz contests, play Jenga with the flight attendants, and you could win an ANA plush airplane-shaped phone stand.Air CanadaDuring the travel fair, purchase a ticket for a chance to win tickets to the Air Canada-sponsored Mayday “Life Tour” concert in Canada (Toronto show on November 26). TransAsia AirwaysThis year, in addition to promoting new international routes to Japan and Akita, TransAsia is also co-hosting a “Fly TransAsia to Japan” questionnaire and lucky draw event at its Taipei International Travel Fair booth with Iwate Prefecture and Akita Prefecture in Japan. Participants can win eco-bags commemorating the first anniversary of the Iwate route or gifts provided by Akita and Iwate. Lucky draws will be held at the booth daily at 5:00 p.m., with chances to win major prizes such as international and domestic flight tickets and local specialties from Iwate and Akita.
