Known as the Kitchen of Japan, Tsukiji Market is one of the must-visit famous attractions for tourists coming to Tokyo. Here, you can enjoy affordable and fresh cuisine while also watching the market's famous auctions. With a history of over 80 years, the buildings have aged and there have been frequent fires in recent years. As a result, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced the day before yesterday that the relocation of Tsukiji Market will be completed between September and October 2018. Below are five popular must-eat restaurants at Tsukiji Market — visitors should seize the opportunity to pay them a visit.

1. Sushi Dai
At Tsukiji’s most famous Sushi Dai, waiting in line for at least 1–3 hours is common. Aside from the fresh and delicious food, the service is also excellent. Although the wait is tiring, the delicious meal you finally get is sure to soothe your body and soul.

2. Yoshino Yakitori (Tonkatsu)
If you’re not into raw fish, Yoshino’s tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) is your best bet. Located between Yamato Sushi and Sushi Dai, its most famous offering is its fried dishes. Not only is the tonkatsu delicious, but the fresh fried seafood is also mouthwatering. There is a wide variety of seafood combinations, and choices are abundant. Especially recommended is the store’s signature “Stamina Set” (炸物叉烧荷包蛋定食), available only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, along with a fresh seafood set: チャ0?撺灏?ē氓岸ㄊ常??圆换崛萌撕蠡冢〖br />

Quantities are limited daily, so go early if you want to try it.
