Eslite Spectrum has invited Jake Page, who just won the 2017 La Maison Cointreau (Cointreau Home of Orange Liqueur) Cocktail Competition in October this year, to make a guest appearance. Together with Executive Western Chef Lin Yugang, he will present the "French Soul, Taiwanese Charm | Wine & Dining Pop-up Night" on the evening of November 17th. The price is 1,500 NTD + 10% service charge, with only 30 seats available.
Jake Page hails from Employees Only, which has been ranked among the world's 50 Best Bars for nine consecutive years. He will personally demonstrate four cocktail creations that won top honors in various categories of the LMC competition. Executive Chef Lin Yugang, known for integrating Taiwanese local ingredients into Western cuisine, will infuse the characteristics and flavors of each cocktail into Western cooking techniques and ingredients. Dishes include a Duroc pork bao bun, modern Northeastern abalone, nostalgic ribeye steak rice bowl, and retro ginger sesame peanut mochi, among others. Additionally, the menu offers sweet treats such as almond tofu, black sugar cake, and Yunnan-style spicy yogurt.
