Provincial Highway 11, situated along Taiwan’s east coast, begins in Ji’an Township, Hualien County in the north and terminates in Meihua, TaiMaLi Township, Taitung County in the south. Spanning 178 kilometers, it is one of the major highways in the Hualien-Taitung area, boasting magnificent and vast landscapes along the way, making it one of the most beautiful highways in Taiwan. 1. Niushan Huxia Courtyard

Niushan Huxia Courtyard is a unique and mysterious place, hidden between mountains and the coastline like a hidden paradise—resembling a secluded martial arts retreat or a heavenly realm on earth. It was created by a group of Amis people as a carefree and peaceful space for cattle herding and farming. The critically acclaimed 2017 film *Silence*, entirely shot in Taiwan, featured scenes filmed at Niushan Huxia Courtyard.

2. Baxi Viewpoint
Located at the 31.5-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway 11, Baxi Viewpoint is a rare high point along the coastal highway. From the viewpoint, looking south, you can see the Ishikawa Bay, Guhou Cape, and XinShe Sea Cliffs, forming a uniquely layered coastal landscape.

3. Qinzhibuzi Skywalk
The newly built “Qinzhibuzi Skywalk” in Fengbin Township, Hualien, stretches 170 meters and is constructed along a steep cliff. The walkway features transparent reinforced glass beneath, offering walkers a thrilling experience with cliffs on one side, the vast Pacific Ocean on the other, and a sheer drop directly underneath.
