Pink silk floss flower tunnels bloom in autumn and winter – reserve your spot now

As autumn and winter gradually set in and the weather turns cooler, aside from the must-see blooming flower seas of summer, there are also stunning flower tunnels to admire in these cooler months. Located along Jiancheng Road in Huwei, Yunlin, a profusion of silk floss trees are planted, and every autumn the pink flowers burst into bloom, creating vast swathes of vibrant floral scenery that resemble cherry blossoms in full glory—so much so that one might mistake it for an early spring.

When in bloom, silk floss trees present a magnificent sight, with numerous vivid flowers predominantly in purplish-red or light pink. Hence, they are also nicknamed "beauty cherry blossoms." The flowering season typically falls between autumn and early winter, with each tree producing around 5,000 to 6,000 blossoms. When all the flowers bloom together, the spectacle is truly breathtaking, making it a popular spot for social media check-ins.

In addition to Jiancheng Road in Huwei, both banks of the Beidou Riverside Park in Changhua are also planted with many silk floss trees.
