Its first overseas store will open on the first floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Xinyi A8.

RAPL Pomp Ringo (known as RINGO in Japan) continues BAKE Inc.'s commitment to fresh ingredients, featuring an innovative apple pie baked on-site in-store. The brand opened its first store in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, in March 2016. Breaking away from the typical slightly tart taste of apple pies, it offers a crispy crust filled with diced apples and custard cream. Its novel taste and creative design attracted large crowds upon opening, winning the hearts of all ages and receiving high praise. It achieved the remarkable feat of selling 250,000 pies in just one month in Japan.

Japan produces a wide variety of apples, and apple pie is considered a national dessert. RAPL Pomp Ringo uses specially made brand flour for the crust and diced Aomori apples. After baking it on-site every day, it fills the pies with freshly whipped custard cream made from 100% pure fresh milk sourced from Taiwan’s contracted small-scale dairy farm “Fresh Milk Workshop.” With one bite, the sweet flavor of the apple and the creamy richness of the custard blend together in your mouth, completely redefining the traditional idea of an apple pie.

The unique shape of RAPL Pomp Ringo is another standout feature. Unlike traditional apple pies designed for sharing among multiple people, RAPL Pomp Ringo focuses on takeout consumption with its conveniently sized, easy-to-eat form that allows girls to buy and enjoy it anytime. The sparkling sugar glaze makes RAPL Pomp Ringo shine like a decoration. Both its delicious taste and unique appearance have captivated the Japanese.
RAPL Pomp Ringo currently has four branches in Ikebukuro, Kawasaki, Fukuoka, and Osaka. With its distinctive shape and taste that differ from traditional apple pies, RAPL Pomp Ringo has sparked yet another wave of “apple” queue mania. (Image provided by RAPL)
