The Ghibli animation architecture is all here at this 3D structures exhibition — a must-visit for fans

Ghibli animations are childhood memories for many, growing up with fans. The works also feature quite a few impressive buildings, including the "Bathhouse" of Granny Yubaba in Spirited Away and the "Kusakabe House" in My Neighbor Totoro, among other unforgettable structures. The "Ghibli 3D Structures Exhibition" brings together these buildings from the works, opening at Osaka Abeno HARUKAS Art Museum from December 2, 2017 to February 5, 2018.

From Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind to Ghibli’s latest animation, the Remembered Marnie, a total of 450 pieces of architectural structures, background artwork, and conceptual drawings from the works will be displayed in this exhibition. Fans can see the three-dimensional representations of iconic buildings from the works and explore the origins of their design concepts.
