A new romantic hotspot for couples: the stunning night view of the old railway bridge over the river

Recently, a new dating destination has emerged in Kaohsiung. The old railway bridge over Love River has been transformed into a pedestrian bridge, preserving the historic railway tracks and being redesigned as a "Time Corridor." As you stroll along the corridor, you can not only take in the beautiful views of Love River harbor but also catch a glimpse of the upcoming Cultural and Popular Music Center. At night, this becomes one of the most beautiful spots to enjoy Love River.

In response to the competitive landscape among Asian port cities, where high-tech industries are developing rapidly, one of the key development areas is the 95-hectare Asia New Bay Area located by the harbor. Kaohsiung's Circular Light Rail plays a crucial role in connecting and transporting large crowds to this new district. Among its spans, the bridge crossing Love River accommodates not only light rail vehicles but also retains the original Taiwan Railways old railway bridge. By preserving the historic railway tracks, it has been reimagined as a pedestrian Time Corridor.

The recently opened railway bridge passage, redesigned from the old Love River railway bridge, serves as a pedestrian bridge. Wooden planks are laid on both sides of the bridge deck, with tempered glass in the middle to showcase the railway tracks. At night, lighting enhances the area, creating a beautiful light corridor along the tracks that connects the two banks of Love River at the TRA True Love Pier Light Rail Station.
