This year’s Taipei 101 New Year’s Eve firework show lasted a total of 360 seconds, making it the longest in history. With 16,000 fireworks launched—fewer than the previous year’s 30,000—the reduction also takes air pollution concerns into account, aiming to strike a balance between celebration and environmental protection. Paired with a long LED wall light show on the T-PAD light grid, the display features traditional Taiwanese floral window patterns as the main visual element, offering spectators a unique viewing experience.
