Taiwan's largest capsule toy machine makes a colorful debut in this container park

The giant capsule toy machine has become a hot topic online. Following its appearances on Wemin Street and at Taijiang Department Store in Tainan, another towering (12-meter-high), purportedly the largest in Taiwan, has emerged in Tamsui and made its debut at the "2017 Tamsui Egg Festival" in the town’s fairy-tale new district.

In addition to the eye-catching giant capsule toy machine, the Tamsui Egg Festival has also created a colorful container park. The exhibition, themed around “eggs,” includes dozens of fun activities such as a super-large Easter egg, a world capsule toy exhibition, the Egg Evolution Museum, and cartoon egg celebrities—ensuring a great time for visitors of all ages.

To continuously promote and develop large-scale cultural and artistic exhibitions in Tamsui, the "Tamsui Egg Festival" special exhibition was designed with diverse themes including art, ecology, children's games, science, food, and surrounding attractions to create a creative park. It selects culturally and historically representative cuisines, artworks, and traditional local children's toys from various countries, aiming for deeper heritage, internationalization, and entertainment. This approach is intended to broaden cultural and artistic perspectives, promote local creative cultural industries, and boost tourism in Tamsui.
