It is a mixed-gender onsen, but there is now also a dedicated women-only bath nearby, so female visitors can relax without worry.

Travelers wishing to visit can take the JR Ominato Line to “Wespa Tsutsumiyan” Station and then transfer to the free shuttle bus to reach Furofushi Onsen. Additionally, the hot spring is only available for use from sunrise to sunset and is closed at night. In the event of severe weather, it may be temporarily closed, so visitors should always check the weather conditions before heading out.
