Located near Taichung’s Fengjia Night Market, “Maj. Frutti Ice Art Studio” specializes in fresh fruits paired with snowflake ice, offering a wide variety that is simply mouthwatering. A favorite among cantaloupe lovers is the “Strawberry Guagua,” which uses a cantaloupe as the main bowl. The cantaloupe flesh is first scooped out, then layered with strawberry snowflake ice, followed by more scoops of strawberry and cantaloupe flesh drizzled with condensed milk, plus a scoop of pineapple ice cream for a richly layered taste.

Dongmen Teahouse is located in the alley behind Ruifeng Night Market. In the summer, they offer a seasonal limited-edition ice made with honeydew sorbet + mango sorbet. Unlike other honeydew ice offerings, Dongmen Teahouse uses a whole half of a honeydew as the base, topped with fresh mango, homemade honeydew sorbet, and mango sorbet. With high fruit content and a generous portion, one serving is priced at NT$250.

The shop has a refreshing and cozy atmosphere with a Japanese-style ice parlor vibe. Seasonally, you can enjoy a variety of popular ice desserts made with fresh fruits and shaved ice. One standout is the “Harumai Strawberry Milk Melon Bowl,” which uses half a cantaloupe as the base, topped with fresh strawberries and cantaloupe flesh, along with waterless milk ice, and finished with rich condensed milk — another fan favorite.
