Breaking the impression that Sun Moon Lake only offers lake views, the Original Forest Homestay stands within the mountain forest beside the lake, featuring a modern architectural style. 3. Pingtung — Border of the Nation Gold Design Hotel
With an imaginative interior design resembling a snow-white polar ice cave, the irregular textures and formations seem like the masterpieces of nature. Paired with an unobstructed view of South Bay, you can gaze out over the entire healing ocean. This is the second branch of the popular 2014 hotel “Border of the Nation,” located in Kenting. The entire homestay is painted pure white, and its location facing the sea horizon evokes images of a Greek holiday resort.

4. Yilan — French Little Castle
This distinctive homestay in Yilan not only features a dreamy, fully castellated look, but is also surrounded by lush green lawns and a pristine poolside, almost identical to the settings of period palace dramas. Guests are enchanted, feeling as if they’ve traveled back to the glorious medieval era in Europe — it’s hard to imagine such a gem exists in Yilan.

5. Taitung — Grey, Black, Orange, and Yellow
The building’s exterior adopts geometric concepts, enhanced with cool tones such as light grey, dark grey, and black, leaving a striking impression. It stands independently in the Huadong coastal area, resembling a modern-day fantasy castle. Occasional splashes of orange-yellow can be seen on the weathered stone surfaces, concealing an alternative aesthetic charm within its seemingly rugged, abandoned vibe. Surrounded by rolling hills, pushing open the small yellow door reveals an endless expanse of green fields stretching out before your eyes.
