Tokyo ramen shop "Tsuta," which has earned Michelin one-star status for two consecutive years, is finally opening its first branch in Taiwan on April 27. The shop will serve its signature soy sauce ramen and salt ramen. However, Tsuta’s queuing rules are a bit different from those of typical restaurants. Daily at 10:00 AM, time-slot queue tickets for the day will be handed out, with a limit of one per person per visit. After obtaining your time-slot ticket, you’ll need to line up during your designated time slot.
The method of getting a queue ticket first is the same as at the original shop in Japan, but in Japan, you can get them as early as 7:00 AM. There are seven time slots available at the original location, while the Taiwan branch only offers three: 11:00–14:00, 14:00–17:00, and 17:00–21:00. Tickets are distributed on-site in sequence, and you cannot choose your preferred time slot. Since you’ll need the queue ticket to dine, please keep it safe – lost tickets will not be reissued and must be used on the same day within the specified time slot.
