Is comparing low-cost airlines super easy? Peach Aviation’s website lets you see the “lowest prices” all in one place

As low-cost airlines continue to innovate, booking websites are also upgrading. Japan’s first LCC low-cost airline, Peach Aviation, has added a “Lowest Price Overview” feature, making it easy even for first-time low-cost airline ticket bookers to get a handle on fares.

Comparing low-cost airfares is no longer difficult. With this new feature, when passengers search for fares, they just need to check the “Lowest Price Overview” box, and the booking screen will display the most competitive fares within one month of their selected date, shown in a calendar format. Previously, the booking screen could only show fares for three days including the specified date; but with the “Lowest Price Overview” service, you can quickly and easily find the best fares for the entire month. In addition, if there is more than one available flight on a given day, the calendar screen will show the lowest fare for that day, and the “Itinerary Details” on the right side of the screen will display the flight information for the selected date. If tickets are sold out, that will also be clearly shown.

This “Lowest Price Overview” calendar function allows customers to clearly see fare options for their search period, making the process more efficient. This feature gives travelers greater flexibility in planning their trips, enabling them to quickly search comprehensive fare information and choose the most suitable flight, thus giving rise to a new travel model where “the fare determines the travel destination.”
