Taking a sightseeing bus from the Oirase Gorge Hotel up to "Mount Hakkoda," the bare branches, not yet dressed in fresh greenery, exude a desolate yet serene beauty. As the bus continues uphill, towering snow walls suddenly dominate the view.

The group couldn't hide their excitement, quickly jumping out of the bus and snapping photos to capture the "Snow Corridor." The first sight of the 8-kilometer-long snow walls was truly breathtaking, but after taking photos for a while, the endless whiteness became a bit monotonous. Coupled with sudden strong snowstorms, we had no choice but to return to the warmth of the bus.

Not long after driving further up, we arrived at the Supponnuma Service Center, where a picturesque grand view unfolded before our eyes. At that moment, we couldn’t contain our excitement — only wishing the camera lens were bigger to capture the entire mountain landscape.

Personally, I think,the fork leading to the Supponnuma parking lot is an ideal spot to max out your camera’s memory card,with yellowing trees set against the backdrop of Mount Hakkoda, adding layers of beauty to the snow wall photos and preventing them from looking dull.

After descending the mountain, we seemed still immersed in the dreamlike snowy wonderland. But as we looked out the window, we suddenly realized the story wasn’t over yet. So we quickly grabbed our cameras to capture the constantly receding scenery. Perhaps there’s an old soul within us, making it hard to resist such rural landscapes.

The only regret is that due to the sudden snowstorm, the mountain was closed and we couldn’t experience the "Spring Snow Café." We could only imagine sitting on a snow sofa, gazing at Mount Hakkoda, sipping coffee, and savoring the peace of a holiday away from the hustle and bustle.
