Ma Gao Cherry Blossom Season – 50% Off Accommodation and Park Entry

The beautiful and colorful cherry blossom season is here again this year. The entire Taiwan Route 7 has been dyed a vibrant pink as cherry blossoms bloom along the way. Especially on Taiwan Route 7, Qilan Resort at the lower elevation sees its mountain cherry blossoms bloom first, followed by the pink cherry blossoms. If you want to enjoy the cherry blossoms, you don’t have to drive a long way and get stuck in traffic to visit Wuling or Taichung – just pass through the Xueshan Tunnel and head toward Taiwan Route 7. In less than 10 minutes, you’ll be greeted by a sea of blooming cherry blossoms.

When visiting Qilan Resort in Yilan to admire the cherry blossoms, besides enjoying the colorful scenery, during the blossom season, the resort has specially arranged two “Cherry Blossom Serenade” music performances daily from the 21st to February 9th. Musician Zhang Ruipeng will play several well-known pieces, allowing visitors to immerse themselves under the cherry blossom trees for a romantic musical afternoon tea.

The Ma Gao Ecological Park is also offering a variety of promotions. From February 1st to February 7th during the event period, staying at either Qilan Resort or Mingchi Resort on weekdays comes with a 50% discount on all room types. From the 21st to February 7th, there’s also a 50% discount on weekday park entry tickets.

In addition, if you stay at Ma Gao on New Year’s Eve Eve or New Year’s Eve, whether you choose Qilan Resort or Mingchi Resort, not only is there no extra charge for the room, but you’ll also receive a buffet dinner worth NT$650 per person. The hotel will also provide each table with a sumptuous hot pot meal to enjoy the festive New Year’s Eve reunion atmosphere.

If you don’t want to drive yourself, Ma Gao Ecological Park also offers a flower-viewing shuttle package. The accommodation + round-trip shuttle from Taipei special price starts at NT$1,950 per person on weekdays. The shuttle departs daily at 9:00 AM from the National Father Memorial Hall. Spots are limited, so early booking is required.
