Visit Hong Kong Ocean Park during Chinese New Year – Flight + Hotel Package for Just NT$7,999 Includes Admission

Hong Kong Ocean Park held a press conference today (the 15th), where CEO Markus Bouquet and Deputy CEO Lee Shing-chung led a team to Taipei to unveil a special offer tailored for Taiwanese travelers: a 3-day, 2-night flight + hotel package plus a daytime admission ticket to Hong Kong Ocean Park, all for just NT$7,999.

To show appreciation to Taiwanese travelers, Ocean Park has specially launched a Lunar New Year offer tailored for them. This includes a discounted package priced at NT$7,999, jointly offered with Yong Feng Bank and Cola Tour, which covers a 3-day, 2-night flight + hotel package and a daytime admission ticket to Hong Kong Ocean Park. Additionally, Taiwanese travelers holding Cathay Pacific or Dragonair e-tickets or boarding passes can enjoy a 12% discount when purchasing Ocean Park tickets. Likewise, members of Hong Kong Airlines’ Hainan Airlines Golden Panda Club or those holding Hong Kong Airlines boarding passes can also enjoy discounts ranging from 10% to 12% off when buying Ocean Park tickets.

To welcome Taiwanese visitors, Hong Kong Ocean Park will host the Lunar New Year “Prosperity Celebration” event from February 9 to 24 this year. The park has invited the internationally acclaimed and hugely popular Taiwanese performance group “Nine Heavens Folk Performance Troupe” to bring traditional temple fair culture to Hong Kong Ocean Park. In addition to adorable, Q-version performances of the Third Prince (San Tai Zi) with unique drum routines, over ten energetic members of the Nine Heavens troupe will also perform bare-chested with extraordinary drumming skills to welcome the Year of the Snake, celebrating the New Year amid a joyous, festive drumbeat. The event will kick off the Snake Year in style. The park has also built the tallest “Colorful Spinning Lantern of Prosperity” in Hong Kong and arranged for its mascots to offer blessings to visitors.

Want to experience the festive atmosphere of Hong Kong? Head to the “Old Hong Kong Street,” themed around 1950s–70s Hong Kong street scenes and classic architecture. There, you can sample 70 kinds of classic street snacks, admire rows of pre-war Tong Lau buildings along the street, and see replicas of rickshaws, bicycle-mounted rice deliveries, gas tanks, and dried seafood.

Moreover, during the New Year period, nostalgic celebratory song and dance performances will take place, where classic characters from Old Hong Kong Street—like the landlady, factory girl, and greaseball youth—will join in welcoming the God of Fortune. There will be non-stop singing and dancing, as well as performances such as “Golden Snake Dance to Welcome the New Year,” which blends Chinese dance with hip-hop, and traditional lion and dragon dances.
