Eric Tsang releases sky lanterns in Pingxi for blessings, accompanied by 10 beautiful models for a shared celebration

Taiwan’s unique local customs and culture are truly astonishing！ Hong Kong’s TVB network is hosting its first large-scale Spring Festival Gala, which will be broadcast simultaneously in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia on New Year’s Eve. The network has also deployed its top actors and actresses to various locations to assist with filming outdoor segments. The Taiwan segment is led by Eric Tsang, Bowie Tsang, and King Kong as hosts. They arrived in Taiwan on the 27th to film on location, with their first stop being Pingxi Shifen Station to release sky lanterns for blessings, hoping for peace and smoothness in the Year of the Dragon, and also to showcase to audiences across Asia the unique festive atmosphere of Taiwan during the Lunar New Year.

Because of the memorable scene in the movie *You Are the Apple of My Eye* where characters release sky lanterns in Pingxi, Eric Tsang specifically chose Pingxi as a filming location for the show. It was his first time releasing a sky lantern in Pingxi, and he was full of praise for the scenery along the old street. Yesterday (the 27th), the Shifen Old Street gathered many onlookers, who expressed how lucky and happy they were to see Eric Tsang and Bowie Tsang personally releasing sky lanterns, with cheers echoing non-stop. Many visitors from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia also took the opportunity to take photos with the two stars and release sky lanterns together with the team.

To show hospitality, Pang Pang and Zi Yu, hosts of TVBS’ *Mr. & Mrs. Adventure—Stay Overnight Here*, specially brought along the “women’s army” and ten beautiful models from Eelin Modeling Agency, making a group of 35 people. This impressed Eric Tsang, who exclaimed, “Your lineup is simply amazing!” But seeing the row of leggy beauties standing in front of him made Eric Tsang laugh uncontrollably, and he whispered to Pang Pang with a grin, “You really know me well.”
